SUMMER SKEET SHOOTING CAMP!
At Capital City Trap & Skeet
For Kids Ages 10-17
At shooting camp, your child will learn:
Gun Safety and Safe Gun Handling
Gun Range Protocol (What is proper conduct on the range)
Basic Shotgun Maintenance
The Fundamentals of Shotgun Shooting
Proper Stance, Foot Position and Body Position for Different Target Presentations
What is "Lead" and how much "Lead" each Target Presentation Requires
By the end of the three day camp, your child should have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of target shooting, and should be able to break targets at all 8 stations on the skeet field. (This course is a prerequisite to Sporting Clays Summer Camp)
Shooting Camp is from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday June 3rd through June 5th and is limited to 5 students. Other camp dates available on request
Price for Shooting Camp is $250 per student and includes all target fees. Students will shoot up to 100 targets per day for three days. Shells are not included but may be purchased separately at camp. Loaner guns are available on request
